There was. When I arrived, there were a couple people that handed out - rather sent - packages with a basic guide to city life.

That's wonderful. It's so much easier to be here with friends.

Part of me wants to be miffed that I didn't get one. The other part makes me glad I didn't because somebody would have gotten hit with it.

And boyfriends. Can't forget those. His fragile ego would never survive if I didn't include him.

I threw my heels at him. Then again, he was a bit of a silly, always trying to be a bother.

Boyfriends? Yes, they certainly do have rather poor egos.

Oh, that isn't the top of the cake. One of my aquaintances had gotten into an argument with his other half about how religious of a priest he was that started a huge frenzy of priestly activities getting forced on random passer-bys.

Oh, but I was so hoping you'll try to guess who I am talking about. They are rather loud some days.

But the priest was sticking his portable confessional on people's heads in the Square, while his other half started telling him that it was a lousy way to make a living.

I don't think I know them. I actually don't even know what priest carries around a confessional. The priests back home didn't do whatever a confessional is.

It's a private box where a person can confess their sins in. I think it's a Cathlothic thing, really.

They kind of look like the regular dogs they have here, only they have a pouch and they carry their babies. Never heard of them either, I take it.

Well, no. But honestly, I'm not surprised. We have tomas back home and the only time someone sees one is when a curse brings one around for the short girl to drive over the priest.
