Second Nail

Oh great. Just what I always wanted. As if I enjoy this sort of thing ever so much. Honestly. People keep on acting like they know me and really, I never seen this place before.

Oh. Darlings? Do something about all this blood, mmkay? It's just so tacky.

{ooc; Now on top of thinking she just arrived, Elendira is hit with Out Damn spot teim.]

That doesn't make me responsible for the the state of your shoes.

You don't hear me blaming you for plugging my clothes full of holes, do you?

Geez.

[identity profile] scruffy-fellow.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
No it doesn't!

And no they weren't! They were gifts, and they were a whole lot more meaningful than your stupid shoes could ever be!

[identity profile] scruffy-fellow.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
And that disproves my point, how?

[identity profile] scruffy-fellow.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 09:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Anyone could buy you a pair of shoes.

The stuff you ruined couldn't be replaced.

[identity profile] scruffy-fellow.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 09:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Whatever.

I'm not gonna argue with you about this. Obviously there's no point in talking to you until the curse ends.

[identity profile] scruffy-fellow.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah.

You've been here for a long time but you don't remember because of it. That blood you mentioned is also a curse, a different one. I'm affected by the second one today, too.

It isn't nonsense.

Why would I lie about something like that?

[identity profile] scruffy-fellow.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
People aren't the ones that do it.

I don't know if anyone's told you yet, but right now, we're in a place called the City. It pulls people from various times and places and doesn't distinguish between the living and the dead.

The ones in charge are called the deities. No one's really sure what they are, where they came from, or who they work for, but they're the ones who cast the curses on people.

I don't know why they do it. Maybe they're bored and can't get their kicks any other way, or maybe they're making a study of how people react to different things. No one really knows.

[identity profile] scruffy-fellow.livejournal.com 2008-03-23 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
Well...now you know.

That doesn't really work. I've heard that the deities' building has been blown up before, but they always comes back. You can try, though, I guess.

[identity profile] mildlyreckless.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 08:46 pm (UTC)(link)
It seems like a lot of people have a lot of blood around them... Are you okay?

[identity profile] mildlyreckless.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 09:17 pm (UTC)(link)
That doesn't sound like fun.

[identity profile] mildlyreckless.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe you should have a shower.

[identity profile] mildlyreckless.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)
...Maybe it's because you wear the wrong clothes?
